Travis Young

SENIOR PRESIDENT | EDUCATION & OPERATIONS

Travis Young joined Elior North America in the fall of 2023 as Senior President, Education and Operations. In his role, he leads Elior NA’s Education segment, which includes higher education, independent schools, and K-12. He also works closely with Elior NA’s Service Operations team to drive operational excellence across the company’s segments.

Travis has a remarkable 30-year track record of success in the food service industry which includes leadership over diverse sectors such as healthcare, senior living, and education. His skills in strategic planning, hospitality, mergers and acquisitions, operational reorganization, driving customer satisfaction, and accelerating growth have been pivotal in achieving success working at global organizations such as Aramark, Compass Group and Marriott. 

Prior to joining Elior, Travis served as Chief Growth Officer of the senior living sector at Aramark and spent 17 years at Compass Group where he led efforts in corporate dining, healthcare, senior living, higher education, private schools, and K-12 operations throughout the United States.

In addition to his extensive experience with established foodservice and hospitality companies, Travis has also thrived as an entrepreneur. He founded and led Dedicated Dining Services, a successful dining, catering and meal vending company, in 2000, which he sold in 2003.

He earned his bachelor’s degree in Business Administration and Management from the University of Mississippi and lives in the North Shore of Chicago with his wife and three children.
